Funding for postgraduate IT courses

How to fund a postgraduate course in IT.

The Graduate Skills Conversion Programme aims to provide graduates with the opportunity to acquire qualifications for employment in the ICT area (see www.hea.ie/en/skills+funding). A composite fee applies to all courses under the programme. Funding is available for research students from Science Foundation Ireland (www.sfi.ie), IRCSET and industrial sponsorship. Some funding can be applied for at the university itself as well as grants from the relevant local authority. In Northern Ireland, a thirty-week Software Professional course is available, run by ANIC and Momentum, for which there is no charge.
